  I was suffering with tremendous back pain last year and tried 2 chiropractors but only got temporary relief. My GP sent me for X-Rays and then an MRI, concluding that I may have to go in for surgery as I was barely able to walk straight and could not bend to even tie my shoe laces. Coming into the River Clinic and being treated by Dr Chiang has completely changed my condition - been able to play badminton and golf at least 3 times a week all year. After the first treatment Dr Chiang found that my back was not the root cause but a symptom caused by a twisted knee and ankle. Fixing the right problem allowed me to get back to the badminton court after the 3rd treatment, which was amazing. I recommended Dr Chiang to many of my friends and he has been able to help all of them. My wife was also able to get her chronic neck problem resolved in 5 treatments. I was completely sold on Dr Chiang by the statements he made during the free initial consultation: "I will try and identify the root cause of your problems and work on resolving them. I do not work on mere symptoms as you only get temporary relief, while the main problem is never addressed." If you have chronic muscle / nerve problems you owe it to yourself to give Dr Chiang a chance to help you. He is very knowledgeable, humble and honest about what he can or cannot do to help!

  I was having a lower back pain and did not see much improvement even after several visits to a massage therapist. A good friend suggested I see Dr Chiang for acupuncture treatments at the River Clinic in Markham and I am very glad that I did. In 4 sessions my pain has completely gone and I am now able to play my golf and tennis pain free. Dr Chiang knows his stuff. He is attentive, listens carefully and clearly communicates the treatment process. I am thankful to my friend for suggesting Dr Chiang and would highly recommend him.
